We found out about her & her family 'cause DW picked up her special needs boy for school every day. She told her church about them. BIL, a guy from church, & I were delivering firewood we'd cut for them. The part that frosted me was when her husband came home & never lifted a finger to help us.

He may have just been embarrassed/humbled that he couldn't provide for his family at that particular point in time or that strangers would come help his family like that.

Possibly; never saw him again...her, either, for that matter. Last I knew they were headed to WV
