It is very logical! The one of the common complications of flu, is pneumonia! The influenza virus makes the lung cells more perceptive pneumonia bacteria. Especially in old people (and I am sure that your mom is not! ) and the one with compromised immune system.

DYK not much ice in this storm, so far, don't think it will get bad enough now to knock out the electrical power. Chickens are happy because I was able to open all the cages and refill food and water, that is all my chickens seem to need to make them happy.
