A three color cat is always a female.
The university here has tried to make them with no success,,, another worthwhile government grant.

I know they are mostly girls in calico cats, and that the few males that naturally occur are usually sterile too. But is it the same color pattern? Are there pics of brindle dogs cuddling with calico cats? I wonder if you could get the fur to blend.
