Our dogs are both out watching hubby bring in wood. The little one needs a jacket though, he shivers in the cold.

We once had a Llaso Apso that was probably under a year when she saw her 1st snow. Normally, when she wanted out, she'd fly out the & off the porch through thin air. When she did that, disappearing under the snow, and surfacing with a confused expression on her face, we cracked up.

Many years later we adopted a little Jack, who for a couple years ran papers with me all night, year 'round, with both front windows wide open. He had a little red vest he wore in cold weather.

Everything is soaked! Goats, pigs... They say we will low 20s to teens tonight.
The critters can handle cold. But wet cold turns to ice..

cutting into feed hay for insulation purposes.
