Well, if I get my silkie flock off the ground and the eggs fertile next spring... I could always... you know... send you some eggs? ;o


I've heard guineas make bad moms. I kind of wanted a peacock - for the feathers, but then I read they weren't the nicest birds ot have around kids, so we went with turkeys instead.

Did you know that the picture button finally works again on the BYC app for me so now I don't have to go all the way to desktop mode or find a computer?

) and they are my babies

I have no idea what the gender of my three are yet. They aren't the most personable birds, but with a little struggle and some bread, I can hold and pet one

Only the males have the beautiful feathers. I didn't want girls. Had no use for them! LOL Edited : If I can get a breeding pair and get fertile eggs, I'd be happy to send some eggs. Apparently they are on the verge of extinction, so anything I can do to help contribute to their growing numbers and all that!
