The birds were right beside each other under the (standing) rabbit hutch when I found them, dead as doornails. I think they were taking shelter from the rain. 99.999% sure it was lightening because the extension cord was on the ground beside them, and the bulb from it was connected to had busted and shattered all in my coop with my chicks. Ironically, every single chick was fine but my two big boys were not. :/ Anywho, that was a couple years ago, and at least my favorite cock didn't get hit!

Did you know, that I want to get my daughter those fluffy feathery geese... metzer farms charges like 75 a bird for a pair of them... I don't think I can justify more than a pair next spring when they become available though and they make you order 10 birds.... so... i need to order 8 more. LOLL I'm not sure hubby's okay with 10 geese.
