Did you know that we just had back to back fiascos?

First, because of all the flooding and rain, my daughters pony had a stick up his butt and kicked her in the arm - she's okay, no broken bones, but it upset her that he did it.

Dad had to go lunge him until he decided to get the stick removed from his rear end. (Proverbial stick)

While I was checking on her arm - my toddler found this WONDERFUL pile of dirt to play in... not realizing it was a fire ant hill... he'd been riding his bike, but decided to play in the dirt. Next thing I know, he's screaming, and I run over there to rescue him. I see all the ants and do the only logical thing I could.

Scoop him up, run him inside, and dump him in the bathtub and turn it on............ I managed to get all the ants off his hands, arms, legs, and feet... only to get them in my pants and shirt.

I hope you and the kids are all ok!

No. It's five cheese ravioli with pepperoni (or whatever you like) and sauce in a casserole dish, topped with mozzarella.

Really, maybe she just couldn't cope tonight. She always gets upset when her mother leaves her at the door. She doesn't cling to her. I'm afraid that her mother may just stress her out. It's just never been like that!! Wow!

DYK they must have just had a good one in OK. I live just south of Joplin Missouri, and at 7:46 we shook enough to rattle stuff and spook the cats. That is the strongest earthquake I have felt since I moved from the West coast, but not the longest one since I moved to the Midwest.
