I tried to mail some clothes to my cousin who lives about 250 miles away last summer. I boxed them up and took the boxes to get a rate on them. They rang up (cheapest shipping), at $60 per box. I promptly called my cousin and said, "Road trip, we are meeting halfway!" Saved me money and I got to visit with her for an afternoon! Crazy expensive sometimes!
