I feel bad. I broke a duck egg and a chicken egg in my incubator last night. I lifted the lid to turn them and dropped it, and it smashed two of the eggs.

i didn't want ot do staggered batches anymore, but it was one of the rare EE eggs we put in there, Abbie wants more green eggs, and as the older chickens stop laying over the next couple years, she wants to move her entire flock over to EE chickens.

I will probably order some new EE chicks online to get new fresh blood at some point, we tend to get a lot of roosters :/
