How are your big project birds coming along? Haven't heard much about them lately.

They were doing good until today. They met a judge that thinks the only meat bird should be 8 pounds and 8 weeks no more, and no less...

Personally. I will still take my big birds any day. I smoked one a couple weeks ago, 15.5 pounds of pure heaven.

Maybe they're still too new and not widespread enough yet.

I am sure, but I also am not naive enough to know I will change the world with my toads. They are for select people that like more dark meat and huge roasters or smoker birds.

They are not as fast growing as a CX, but a CX would have crushed legs at 20 pounds live weight.

I am still extremely happy with them and grateful for all the people that want them.
