I can't. No Chantecler eggs around here anyway, which is what I want.

Despite my location, finding eggs or chicks that don't have to be shipped is next to impossible. I've seen maybe one listing.

White variety is more common, but I don't want them right now.

She never sells eggs, period. She occasionally sells or did sell started stock, but there is no way I could convince her to sell anything to me.

I understand that, I may buy some whites, whites will win the shows over my superior Partridges.

There is never any dispute for the judges on "is that shade right or not". It s either white or not. And that white dye old(er) women use in their hair to get it white will assure the birds are all white.

I have been raising chickens for a miniscule fraction of time. To her, I might as well have had none at all.
Conditions for biosecurity here are laughable, so recovering stock from me would bring in who knows what from my place.

Just isn't feasible, I'm afraid.
