My dog does that all the time. My feet look like someone hacked them with a knife blade.

When I cook, my dogs like to lay between me and the counter or stove, so I have to do everything a little further from the counter or stove than I would like, Have yet to be injured though.

i dropped a (full) handle of rum out of my freezer and the only reason it didnt break was because it landed on the dumb dog

Tell them to move, that's crazy talk. I don't know why they do it, I don't ever give them samples.

Glad she was fine, never thought of keeping rum in the freezer, keep my Titos Vodka in there. Hmmmm

My dogs are kitchen rugs also. They never eat in there. Never get snacks in there. BUT they are eternal optimists believing something will fall for them to scarf up.

Of course, them being underfoot does increase the possibility of that.
