I have changed my name on CL to a fictional name to protect the innocent...
Google traffic has multiple people putting one & one together & making me feel uncomfortable when I am home alone and meeting buyers at the gate. I only hand eggs over. No one comes on the property unless hub is here with his CWP & accessories. My dogs are a good judge of character. They don't bark at just anybody. If they start up at the gate with a first time buyer, I don't stop them. They are earning their keep. I like when people lean over the gate to pet my boys and they get nipped at. I have 2 big signs on the gate that say.. DO NOT PET THE DOGS. THEY WILL BITE. WARNING. But people are blind or illiterate or both.
Anyway. Never should have signed up with personal info as my ID.

This is not funny to me..sorry. you have to understand the gravity of the situation. Currently we have 15 ads on Craigslist. And this is off-season. When the season starts we have ads on best farm buys. Com, and various other websites including Flyers at Tractor Supply, Rural King in all of the feed stores here in our local community. At any given time spring and summer we have up to 35 ads on the internet. Which in turn generates hundreds of calls. Hundreds of sales. Hundreds of strangers coming to our property to supplement our income from the products we deliver from our little farm. Last year I sold over 250 chickens alone. Countless pigs. zillions of eggs. All placed on internet classified ads. Yes the same internet that provides access to the darkest Souls that walk the earth. I know I am sounding paranoid, but I am not a fool. I know what happens out there in the world. I have the power to change and alter the unforeseen future. Most likely I will take the initiative to prevent that from happening here shortly.
In the meantime, I shall be using an alias when I greet strangers in place ads. After damage control is done and I carefully calculate what my next step will be. DH will freak out if he knows what is happening. He will most likely give me a hard time about spending so much time on the chat threats.

No worries and no apology needed. We will meet long time buyers with eggs at given locations in our route if we go into town but strangers meet us here on our property. We have more rights as Property Owners than we do in general public as far as protecting ourselves.
On the other side of that coin, we used to catch in cage up animals such as chickens roosters and piglets and deliver them to Tractor Supply parking lot and sit there for 30 mins while some inconsiderate person doesn't even bother to call and say that we are not coming.
The only time we load up our animals anymore to transport them would be to farm swaps in flea markets and such.
My op may have been displayed in a paranoid fashion, but never the less I'm aware that the situation couldn't could escalate at any time.
