DYK? 85 chickens can drink over 5 gallons of water a day? A non hot day?

I have three- 3.5gal pails next to a platform in my big egg house. Every night, all 3 pails are half empty. I just chuck out the balance/rinse and refill.
The conventional pellet grains expands in their stomachs and dehydrates them.
I don't waste my time with dinky water-ers from stores anymore in there. Water nipples just make the soil moist all the time from 80+ birds taking a bath all day.
