My chickens love sun flower seeds! I have been feeding them sun flower seeds and they love em!
My chickens love sunflower seeds as well! How fun that you are going to be getting 4 or 5 more!!

Wonderful!!!  Sound like a clan of characters!

Those are only the most notable of the flock. I will be hatching more soon. And will try to get more of them to come running for food. I will say what's this? Every time I give them scrambled eggs or corn, which are my training tools. Fun experiment.
Chickens are so much smarter and easier to train than I thought before I started with them. Its great!

Those pictures are just the cutest! I had a leghorn that had personality squirting out of her and she did those same tricks! It was really funny to watch her run after me and the treats as she had a very 'bent' tail sticking up in the air but cocked sideways. Think maybe she was in her egg shell too long?!?!

My grandparents and I have two chickens in our backyard and nine in a pen, but the two in the backyard are like puppies! Their names are Henrietta and Little Red Hen, both in my profile picture, and when we go outside and call them, they run to us and squat down for us to pet them:) if we don't pet them immediately, they cluck and scoot a little closer and do it again until we pet them:)

They want you to mate them!!

oh well:) we just stroke their backs and they sit until they want to leave.:) at night when they are ready to go to bed, we walk out to their pen and tell them to jump down into it because they will roost on the edge until we get there. we shine a flashlight, say jump in girls, and they jump in:) they've also learned where the corn is kept and now every time me or my grandpa walks to the storage building they follow right behind us and wait outside the door for a handful of corn:) ive gotten them to run with me too:)
