Did you know that grapes and raisins are toxic to dogs?

I give mine raw eggs and have house chickens and they have never once tried to steal an egg from Bridgette (the only house girl laying right now). The few that have on occassion scaled the 8ft fence that separates the dogs yard from the chickens yard and besides eating poop they left everything else alone.

Your dog might find the eggs tasty and is theiving them because he experienced them WHOLE. The only time mine get the entire egg is when I blend them up and cook them. So they don't associate the oval with their food anymore than they do a butter tub LoL

That makes sense...Although I have never given our dogs raw eggs...She has become a stealer...Have been watching her more since she started...Just can't seem to break her of it yet...

I guess my question kinda goes along with the feeding the dogs live chickens too...Wouldn't that give them the urge to go after the chickens NOT intended for dog food??

So are Macadamia Nuts - -my dachshund wolfed down a whole bowl as fast as he could during my Christmas party last year - we were at the emergency vet the next day - he had paralysis, listlessness, temperature, etc. It was very scary. Needless to say - he pooped whole macadamia nuts for 4 days!

And knowing Dogs I'll bet he didn't learn a thinig...LOL!!!

My dogs get fed a mostly raw diet....poutry, beef, deer, moose, sheep, goat, fish, raw and hard boiled eggs, tons of raw goat milk and its "partners" (custard, yogurt, ice cream, cheese), fruit, veggies and grains. Healthy as horses, all of them. Vet compliments me on their appearance and health and diet!

Yes? And who has verified that SNOPES is true? Don't believe everything you read there.

As far as all the crap that is supposedly toxic to dog, YES IT IS in the massive amounts that people tend to give poor ole lil Fifi. Give a dog a grape, all's good. Give a dog 50 grapes, then there's trouble...even YOU will have issues.

Moderation people, moderation. That is the problem with today's world. Ya know that commercial, you can't eat only one? Well that seems to apply to our pets as well.

Give the pup ONE grape and let em be happy.

I knew that, but unfortunately my wiener dog's favorite thing to do is steal grapes of the vine in my backyard. They also steal a lot of pigeon eggs. They are still alive though!
