If this should be moved to breeds, feel free- take it easy on a newbie ;)

I have an EE (Lucy) that is three weeks old, and all white. Will she stay that way, or do they typically get some other colors in, too? Purely curious, because I'd love if she'd stay all white.

I'd love to know as well, I have one that has gray and pale yellow fluff and has been feathering in very light too. This one is also feathering in MUCH slower than it's mates making me think it may be a roo?

Her legs are green as green can be.. she has fluffy cheeks, too. She was an all buff color as a (baby) chick, light than my BOs.

We got an all white EE chick last year, she now is mostly white with light toasted tan markings. We call her Marshmallow because she looks like a lightly toasted marshmallow. She is the lightest chicken in the our flock.

We thought we would have a better chance of loss from hawks, as we free range during the day, if we only ordered darker, patterned breeds and types. She was a nice surprise, and is a favorite of the roosters.

Found some pictures of Marshmallow.

As a young chick:

Six of the seven EEs.

We placed one of her eggs under a broody on March 30th and we are hoping that it hatches. But, like I said above, she's a favorite of the roosters so any mix is possible.

She DOES look like a toasted marshmallow lol! I wouldn't mind that coloring at all!
