Diffences Between EEs, Ameraucanas, and Araucanas

Really? Interesting. I read differently. 

I'm sorry, I don't know what or where you read that, but it states clearly in the SOP about the variation in egg color... also, the Ameraucana Breeders Club has a color chart, and any egg color that falls in that spectrum is accepted...
I raise Ameraucanas, LF and Bantam Araucanas and Easter Eggers... there is a distinct difference in the egg colors between EE's and the other 2, but some of those still do have a greenish tinge to them...

These 2 girls are from a hoarder (as are 20 of mine, 3 of which are obvious Easter Eggers) They are not particularly nice to any of the other hens they reside with. They are laying small-med very blue-green eggs. There's a tad of rust and some very pretty teal sheen to their feathers in the sun. Muffs not obvious in these photos. They are territorial and aggressive towards any hen their size. Easter Eggers also?

Is the inside of their mouths black too...and the skin under the feathers....look like ayam cemani's.

I would say they aren't Ameraucanas as the rust coloring is spread all over in their body, so a type of Easter Egger, yes... Interesting thought on the Ayam Cemani... they do kinda have that gamey look to them... I'd be interested to hear about their mouths, skin and bottoms of their feet as well...

Here is a link I found that shows British and American Araucana egg colors and the Ameraucana egg colors... to get an actual chart, you have to buy them from the club... think they are $5 for 2... the printed color chart shows more accurately as monitors and screens are all different, but these are good for reference...

It'll be rather difficult to examine my two black hens above. They won't let me touch them and even at night everyone freaks out when I do a head count with a flashlight. I can continue trying but it'll be awhile. They do have muffs that I didn't see on the Ayam Cemani pics. And mine look more like crows.

Don't think so... body type is a bit off, like there is game bird of some type in them... and their eye color should be bay colored...

My 2 black girls above lay the smaller of the bluish eggs in this photo. Would these be considered blue or blue-green? The bottom row eggs are obviously green with one olive egger in the mix. The photo does not do the colors justice. Love the strange shapes.

You're right, the ayam cemani is such a rare breed, I can't imagine that's what they are. Besides, I think the AC lay ivory-pinkish eggs. My 2 may have game in them, but they're certainly not team players.
