Diffences Between EEs, Ameraucanas, and Araucanas

I started out with 15 Black Jersey Giants, at last count I am at over 70 with Jersey Giants, partridge Cochin , blue and black Ameraucanas, barred Rocks, and black copper Marans, and even some Easter eggers. I sold the house, living in the boondocks, converting to solar if I ever finish building chicken pens. No goat (yet), but I am thinking about a few geese.

I wouldn't change it for the world..if my kid wants to run around the yard neekid, he can..I've not started on the solar, but it's on my list (maybe one of these chickens will lay a golden egg).. I had 74 last summer, but rehomed all but my layers bc of a stray dog pack so pretty much starting from scratch this year

Hatch day today! So far, I have 4 Black Jersey Giants, and one black Ameraucana. Still 24 eggs to go, so it will be a long night!

Jenny Penny is in the forefront of the photo. Is she a true Ameraucana or an Easter egger. She's 3 months old.

Thank you. I was thinking so. She was sold as an Ameraucana but I've learned that most local places aren't really selling true Ameraucanas. However, she has the little "beard" theft going on and grey legs. Definitely different from my RIRs and Barrred Rocks. She doesn't have to be true blood. I just thought I'd get an opinion. She's pretty just as she is. Tanks again.

If that was meant for me, I ended up with 2 partridge Cochin, 1 black Ameraucana, 1 black copper marans, and 11 Black Jersey Giants, all from my eggs. Of the shipped eggs, ZERO hatched.
