the top two look crele to me because they have barring in tail feathers. the bottom one looks golden cuckoo because he has the regular black tail feathers.

as for genetics not sure on difference.

Definitely not Crele.

Crele is barred Duckwing. It requires orange/yellow in the secondary feathers, which yours lack, as well as the saddle, hackle, and shoulder. It should not be too dark of color. In females, there should be a lot of color, too, not just in the neck.

Golden Cuckoo is a barred birchen. The color is in the saddle, hackle, and shoulders. In females it is only in the neck. It must breed true, too, as there are plenty colored barred birds that look like Golden Cuckoo, but aren't.

Something else. Either a project or something else. . . The last one isn't even fully barred, if barred at all, and the others look golden cuckoo, but are far too dark. They look like they only have one barred allele. You'd be the one to know, knowing their background/parents.

The top rooster bred to the hens in the second pic- all the chicks have matured to look like him or the hens- This is the first time breeding with the second roo-i have those in the bator- he is barred, but his tail is not.... they were "suposed' to be clean legged Golden Cuckoo marans?? Some of the chicks have come out with feathered legs

From the look of the comb I would say Penedesenca X. They are much too heavy to be pure, but Roo #2 does have the Pene comb...or am I seeing double?
