difference between eating neutered and unneutered goats

My Grandpa raised goat for meat and milk. He would kill the bucks. He always said they have to be castrated because the meat would be tainted otherwise. I'm assuming he meant the taste. I have never eaten goat.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

If people had to get a license to eat meat, and if getting the license required killing, gutting, skinning, aging, deboning, and processing at least one large mammal (deer, sheep, goat, steer, etc), there would be a whole lot more vegetarians in the world.

Nothing quite like finding yourself elbow deep in warm blood and guts on a cool fall morning to make a person appreciate what goes into a simple cheeseburger.

Hence the reason why we raise our own meat....I know what my families eating. I know not everyone can have the luxury of raising their own but there are other resources...
