I have 2 ladies, my black bantam, and my NH Red, I have a bantam all white roo.
I put one bantam egg in on April 9th, and it is doing well, within days I could see growth, 2 days later I put in a NH red which the egg is much bigger, I am not as confident if there is actually anything in there or if I am just slow cooking breakfast.
there is a good size dark spot, I have compared it to my other eggs at different stages, it seems not as see through as the others and the dark spot is much bigger than the newer ones, the shell seems a lot thicker than the batam egg and I can't really see veins, I barely saw them with the bantam.
Would they rate of growth between the eggs be different, even though I know it takes 21 days no matter the size of the egg? I am wondering if my NH red is a little too big for my little bantam roo to mate with
Thanks
