Yes it's the wild type coloring with a few modifiers. Most hatchery EEs are some form of the wild type color

The patterning through the chest indicates she's 'wild-type' partridge. The cockerel appears to have the Columbian restrictor. He's also got one gene for silver base color, and one for red/gold. Both appear to have a copy of the Blue dilute gene. About half the offspring will be silver and and the other half will be gold/red, males will have red leakage like their father. About half will also have his Columbian restrictor. About 25% will not inherit the Blue gene. 50% will inherit a single copy. And 25% will inherit two copies, making them Splash. All chicks should be pea combed, none will have muffs/beards.

It depends on what else the rooster is carrying. As I said, about half will inherit a columbian restrictor, half might not. The rooster might be wild-type as well, we just can't see it thanks that restrictor gene.So if I'm understanding correctly, none of the resulting pullets would end up with the wild-type partridge pattern / coloring from Opal. If I wanted to hatch more like her, what would you recommend?
p.s. found this page for further reading, and re-reading, and probably a few more readings while tracking down referenced materials before I will be able to apply that knowledge to actual live birds.

Doubt they are direct siblings. Possibly half siblings at the closest.I rescind my question below, lol. I have a lot of reading to do before I ask more questions!

I'm thinking I'll need another roo from a different gene pool. These both came from Mt. Healthy, and are probably siblings. We were supposed to get a Wellsumer Roo, but didnt, so with 20 pullets, we could handle another roo. Would have been better to raise them all together, though.
The answer, from a quick search on "inbreeding chickens": Inline breeding, done properly is preferred to adding new bloodlines with potentially troublesome genetics.
Guess I should also wait to see what her eggs will look like too, because I'd like a nice blue from her.
