Hi

I had 20 eggs ready to hatch today and so far I have 7 campines hatched. My orpington eggs and cochin eggs haven't even pipped. Is this normal? Or just a coincidence?

Thanks

What day are you on? Yes sometimes smaller or bantam eggs can hatch a little earlier. 21 days is just a guide for incubation, it can be anything from 19 - 24 days. When chicks are ready they will hatch. My last hatch I did I had some Amber link eggs in and they were pretty much the first to pip compared to my smaller polish eggs. But it was a polish that hatched first.
