Hi Guys,
I have a call duck female and a male. They have had a clutch of 17 eggs and hatched out 15 healthy babies😬 I could see she was struggling with keeping tabs on all of them so I adopted 5 of the smallest and weakest looking ones. Once they got bigger and stronger I tried to introduce them back. She accepted 3 of them and rejected 2. So I'm still looking after 2 and they are the sweetest things.
But there is one duckling the mama duck is looking after that has a very different colour to the rest. All bar 4 ducklings are black and yellow, 3 of them are yellow and a light brown. But this duckling is the only one that looks like this, I really like the colour she is so pretty. I'll attach some photos... In the pic it looks like I'm squishing her but she just has a rlly full crop.

I had put out a post about their colours a while ago and most people said that my boy is a snowy (the one with the black/grey head) and my girl they said is blue fawn...
