Different Chick Noises??

We've had chicks for a few days now and I've noticed that they make a lot of different noises! Loud peeping, chirriping noises (kinda like crickets), and excited sounding peeps. Does anyone have a guide or something for chick noises? I've looked and couldn't find anything! Our chicks are super snuggly and friendly and I'd love to know more about them

Just observe and you'll get to know what sound means what. Be especially tuned in to loud peeping when it is combined with piling up in a corner because it may mean they are in distress somehow (like too cold) or hungry.

Hi, they continue to make different sounds as they grow.
My 7 girls are 10-12 wks old and 2 have started to honk, it sounds sooo funny!

I agree, just spending time with them you will learn what their peeps mean. One of my six pullets sounded like a turkey or a goose
