Why are the duck egg whites almost pink in color? There’s a chicken egg in the center for comparison and that white is kind of yellow. Is the pink in the duck egg normal? Thanks!

I’m not positive one way or the other. The ducks are rather new layers (only had chickens before) and I am not the only cook in the kitchen. But- I think all of these ones were a little pink? I’ve seen some blood tinged chicken eggs, but they were all streaks of blood- not an evenly distributed pink.
