Different colors after a molt?

We're going through a wicked molt here. One started and I guess the others just couldn't help themselves, LOL. The first girl just finished and she looks amazing! I noticed though that her colors seem a little more muted than they were before the molt; as if the feathers just have a lower tone than they did before. She is a red sex link, if that helps.

Our experience is that there will be differences, sometimes subtle, after a moult. Both in color and patterns change. Drives my daughter crazy as she has to relearn who is who as it develops. Fortunately, several come by name for her which makes the relearning process easier. Have fun!
