I agree with this! Simply file a claim and get some eggs right away from some nice person from here....

Without the tracking number she will be giving your money back.

Your lucky if you have never had a priority mail shipment take more than 2 days. We ship thousands of eggs, and 3 days is not uncommon. We have had some shipments get lost to never be found, even with tracking info, and a few boxes that have taken as long as 14 days.

Just because the eggs were sent by Priority mail, does not mean they would have a tracking number. Tracking numbers (delivery conformation) need to be purchased in addition to the shipping charges, UNLESS you use Click-N-Ship then it is included for free.

We use click-n-ship so we get our delivery conformations free plus a discount on the shipping charges for paying online. Even when we don't use click-n-ship, we purchase delivery confornmations. FOR SELLERS & BUYERS- it is a great way to prove the eggs were sent, and you can prove they were delivered.

WE guarantee all our shipments- that if they take more than a week to reach the buyer, we will replace the eggs free of charge. And YES we have had to replace eggs that took more than a week to deliver BY PRIORITY MAIL. Priority mail is NOT GUARANTEED 2-3 day delivery.

Good information, spectrumranch. I really believe she has sent them. I will wait till tomorrow's mail, ask for a refund or reshipment if they don't come.

BYC is such an incredibly helpful way to reach those who "know stuff"....
Many thanks!

I did a purchase on Ebay.

The seller shipped multiple egg packages on the same day to several different people. They all received their eggs 2 days later, I received mine a week later. All the eggs were a fiasco.

Is it the sellers fault? Nope. He can't control the people at the PO. He purchased a tracking number as well. NOT HIS FAULT. The people at the PO did not scan the tracking number until the package was already on it's way to my house 5 days later. I had to CALL the PO in order to find out where my eggs were because the tracking number said they had stopped at my home and left a notice of delivery. Nothing was ever left at my place.

In my opinion, Delivery Confirmation is a must when shipping eggs, however, it is NOT a tracking number. Delivery Confirmation is just what it says....confirmation of Delivery, not of shipment. The PO is not required to scan except on delivery. My PO scans my packages when I ship, but only because I request it. So I would recommend everyone to request scanning when they ship as proof of shipping for the benefit of both buyer and seller. As far as the OP, I would file a complaint with PayPal, get your money back, and shop elsewhere. Good luck!

What kind of eggs are these...just wondering because you said she was the only one that has them.

Unless they are something she developed herself, then she's probably not the only one in the world.

There is no excuse for poor customer service when you PAY for it. She's not sending you these as gift, this is a PURCHASE.

If you don't have an incubator and your broody has already been sitting quite a while, I would tell her you want a refund because at this time it's not working for you. Be polite but firm and let her know you won't have any way to hatching them now, that would leave the door open in the future and maybe you can catch her when she's not all hormonal or something.

You know what they say about guys... if they have to brag about it, it's probably not much to brag about anyway... if it was that great everyone would already know! I think the same thing is true with people who act like they have the worlds most precious birds/eggs/chicks/ anything.

I had some jerk on here telling me my roo wasn't good enough to breed with mille fleur cochins because he is crossed with a D'uccle. Which I know he's not.. he's actually cochin bantam x spangled OE... and that is the type of person I simply prefer not to deal with, because if they have to brag about their own stock... it's probably not that great anyway.

Good luck with your situation...
