My chicken is fighting some kind of illness. It started with panting on the roost about a month ago. Then she started lagging behind the others and seemed lethargic. I took her to a vet and we started treatment. He put her on an anti inflammatory- she had an inflammed trachea- antibiotics to treat any secondary bacterial infection and amprolium. He thought it was maybe a case of herpes with possible coccidiosis. Now after 2 weeks of treatment, she is struggling to breath again and lethargic. I will try to post a video here. She is also tipping her head to the side.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. She isn't eating or drinking for the first time today.
