**Digging my way to the coop. GOT SNOW?**

Quite a bit of snow in Portland this year. I shoveled a little so the girls would have some room to strut their stuff. They've recently started climbing the snow banks and I'm hoping they don't jump the fence.

LynneP, I see that the chicken with no head or neck seems to be contemplating the scratch in front of her. She probably doesn't know what to do with it.

Yep - plenty of snow -- good to plow those paths to the coops before it gets really deep. But I think the wind rattled me more this winter than the perpetual snow.
I could never handle the mid-western plains -- that would blow me over.
