Digital 48 eggs incubator automatic turner doesn't turn by itslef

Did you get this off eBay? I bought the same one and thought it was incubating fine until the last week of incubation. The heat kept dropping way down and then coming back up. After testing it with another thermometer/hygrometer (which I should have done from the beginning) I discovered the digital reading was totally off. Needless to say I lost all of my eggs. Thankfully I was at least able to get my money back with the eBay guarantee. I hope you have better luck with yours, but don't be surprised if it doesn't work properly.

Hi I do have two of these. The turning mechanism works fine in both. The temp is always slightly low but I've worked well to keep it insulated, the humidity levels are way out on both. They were both off eBay one was new and one was second hand, the new one was fine for a while and then couldn't claim through eBay as it was too late.
The humidity tends to be approx 10-15% higher than the incubator itself reads, which I did learn the hard way of with all my babies in the eggs drowning, I really had no idea as I trusted it with it being new.
I liked this incubator for the size and due to so many being sold on eBay thought there was a reason for it as so many people had high ratings of them.

Yup, I bought it off eBay. Mine, the huminity level most of the time is above 80%. I have to open the top lid a little so the huminity level can drop down to 55%-65%.

Is that what the incubator is telling you or is that using another hygrometer? How much water do you put in? When mine was reading 40% on the incubator sometimes it was actually 70% and I had no clue!

That is what the digital huminity % on the incubator shown. Never below 80% if the lid is completely close.
