what did he say? I barely understand Spanish.

BTW I was looking around and blue balls in chickens happens on occasion (totally didn't mean that as a joke but it still made me giggle when I reread this). I think it's a throw back to a silkie gene, even if the chicken is an orpington or something like that.
 
He/she just said they aren't sure why they sometimes are that color, but that while rare, it's not unheard of...

I don't understand Spanish extremely well either btw, but my high school Latin course and google translate helps fill in the gaps...
