Dinosaurs Evolving To Chickens

Sorry, not buying it. There are dinosaurs with neither wings nor feathers. There are dinosaurs with feathers in weird places on their bodies. And there were flying dinosaurs, aka prehistoric birds. The evidence does not exist to prove that dinosaurs with no feathers evolved into dinosaurs with some feathers, which then evolved into "feathered dinosaurs," or birds. They are three separate and disparate kinds of animal. To say otherwise is akin to saying there are deer, there are bighorn sheep and there are moose, and the deer are evolving into bighorn sheep which are then evolving into moose. They are three different kinds of animals. Period. One is not "becoming" another. Chickens are birds. They did not start out as something else. Any similarities or likenesses to any other animals can be explained by the fact that they all come from the hand of the same Designer.

I really dig this study! It's so cool they use their wings to pull themselves in and not to fly!
The connections are really cool and I'd encourage anyone to check out a Hoatzin chick (they have little wing fingers) and a Red-Legged Seriema foot (they have a special raptor toe) to see some dinosaur traits in modern birds.
Also when it comes to flight, people seem to forget to mention how many mammals and reptiles have developed flight too! Bats, squirrles, lizards... you could have a lot of fun trying to understand why animals develop traits.
Also check out the Snail Kite if you want to see possible evolution seen in our time!

Thank you for sharing!
