The backsides of my 3 hens are pretty dirty. What causes this & I do I treat it?

    Thank you

    What age are your hens?
    What do you feed them?
    What breed are they?

Can you post a few pictures of them?

    Welcome to posting!

Chickens just get dirty, they’re animals outside. If you really want to clean it, take a large 2x1x2 storage bin, fill up about 4 inches with water and some dish soap and wipe. It isn’t a problem to worry about.

Dirty as in dirt on them or is it poop or is it bug debris?
