Two of my flock tend to get dirty bottoms. The feathers near their bottom get soiled with poop and I find soiled eggs. I wash their bottoms with warm water. I am wondering why this happens, if it is common and should I be concerned?

Some hens just have fluffy bums and when they have runny poo, this happens. Just make sure flies, drawn by the poo, starting biting her rear end.
