Dirty vent not getting any better

Thank you for the info, Kiki. I have ordered the electrolytes and probiotics, will pick them up tomorrow. By chance, am I able to mix the two items together?

I don't see why not. never had an issue with my birds. just take
precaution and make sure to dose exactly what the directions say.

@Eggcessive what do you suggest?

Hi all. I'm having the same problem with one of my hens. nearly 3 yrs old, Amercauna. Dirty, poop stuck to feathers around her vent (just as previously pictured). Soaked her in warm epson salts and removed nearly all the poo. After keeping her in overnight, let her back out. Not as active as normal. That was last week. Today, noticed her vent feathers are again packed with poo. Back inside and soaked/cleaned. Keeping her in my laundry room, floor covered with newspaper. Noticed she produced runny poo. Vent appears normal, no signs of inflammation. She feels thin-bony breast-can feel her sternum. Worried. Have provided water with Corid. Any further advice or info much appreciated.

Can you get some photos of your hen and her poop?
Does she lay eggs?
The OP of this thread hasn't been on in about a month, so I'm not sure if they will reply or not.

The Corid won't hurt her, just make sure to give the correct dose.

Exactly how much deformed did you use in August?
Did you give it straight to the beak and did you repeat the dose in a week?

I think you're asking about dewormer, not "deformed."
(I assume autocorrect caused that )

I'll try to upload pics, not sure how to via android. I don't think she lays-if she does, I'd say seldom. She is the smallest of my girls-only have 4.

First is Autumn's poo. Second is Autumn (ain't she cute?). Third is her vent-she isn't very cooperative. Note that the vent photo was taken AFTER I cleaned her.

I would agree with @Wyorp Rock that nothing else should be mixed with Corid. Vitamins should not be given while on Corid. If using electrolytes, probiotics are fine to mix, but since most electrolytes also contain vitamins, don’t give those during Corid treatment.

Corid mixed with water, as the ONLY water source, for 5-7 days.

Electrolytes and probiotics must wait until the Corid treatment is over.

(Corid blocks some vitamin the coccidiosis needs. So giving vitamins at the same time would make the Corid not work.)

Corid water should be the only thing she is getting. Anything else should be given when she is not still getting Corid (or before, if she has not yet started Corid.) As NatJ said, Corid works as a thiamine blocker, so one does not want to give thiamine (vitamin B1) while taking Corid.
