Investigating Disappearing profile posts

Don't know if my posts have disappeared, but sometimes when I 'like' things, and I see it later on, it shows I didn't like it, so then I must relike it. That's a bit annoying, too.
And then sometimes I don't even get an alert for some things. Does that happen to any of you?

This is the most likely explanation.

I could certainly ask.

Two of the posts disappeared before I finished all the birthday wishes. No one else's birthday wishes were deleted (that I see) on any of the accounts.

I'm away today, but I will find out more about this.

I've started a conversation with each person where my profile posts disappeared.

I vetted what I wrote with Banty so "hopefully" I don't sound like a crazy person. I also provided a link to this thread to help with the explanation.

No, but I don't keep track.

I imagine most people don't. I noticed this last fall, but the same thing, I hadn't kept track. I started noticing little things. So that's why I've been specifically watching. Where's my tinfoil hat??

I have had to RE LIKE certain posts. As far as profile pages, I don't recall. Definitely in the forum threads.
