We have one of those - if you are talking about one of the wire ones. I found that if you place the wire at the thickness that you want the cheese cut, push down a little into the cheese and then tip the handle up until the roller touches the cheese to cut. Just make sure not to change the angle of the handle as you press down to cut. I used one like yours for over a year before I found an adjustable one at a kitchen store. It was pricey, but at least the new one came with 2 spare wires.Not us. (and we don't even use a dishwasher.)![]()
Just bought a new cheese slicer that was rather disappointing. It's not adjustable and the slices are about 1/2" thick. Way to thick for cheese & crackers.![]()
