Would you believe that this is a personal nightmare of mine. I have a cat inside as well. My bator is sitting on top of a wooden TV tray and I tilt the entire thing to turn the eggs. Although it's plenty stable, if my kitteh were to jump up there....well it wouldn't end well. I've thought about this. Now I see it could be a reality.

I hope it turns out very well!

I shut my cats in the spare room and a couple are outside in the rain. They do have shelter.
I had my first hatch this morning. Photos to come.
