Disaster!***Update- Hatch saved!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!

Hi guys! Thanks for asking.

This hatch is progressing beautifully!

I now have 4 Wellies (not doggie squeak toys), 5 Buffies, and 1 Cuckoo. I have 3 more buffies pipped and peeping, 12 more Cuckoos (4 or so pipped), and the remaining Wellie egg may not do anything. Temp remained pretty stable, as did the humidity.

I really could have lost the entire hatch, so I am so grateful.

PC, I do realize that baby chicks are tender morsels. I just HATE the food chain. Honestly, I do.

This LG has worked as a hatcher far better than I anticipated, and I staggered the setting of these eggs. Now if I can find a place my cocker cannot leap up on.

Solsken, I am so glad to hear that things did not get as bad as you had feared. Congrats on your developing hatch and I hope you get lots of babies!!!!

Thanks Pumpkin! That hour drive home after talking to my dad was so awful. We are really happy the dog did this after school while my dad and kids were there. If it had been the morning, it would have been curtains.....

Okay, here are some my resilient sweeties. Many more are breaking out. I just love hatching chicks. Every single one amazes me.
