Disco Rooster Head Roll

I have a young rooster. He's healthy, nothing wrong. When I let my flock out to free range he does this random thing where he will stop suddenly and rock his head from side to side like he's suffering from momentary disco jive. It only lasts a couple of seconds before he resumes normal activity. I ask, what in the world is he doing?

I have a rooster that does this exact thing... here we call it the Jennifer Grey dance move (from dirty dancing of course)
There's absolutely nothing wrong with our boy, we call it showing off.... been doing it for almost 4 years

They may also do this after drinking to shake off water.

If you can post a video, that would be helpful. It could be wry neck, or a neurological problem, or it could be as simple as he's getting a better look at the surroundings before he goes out for the day.

I had a rooster that did that. To me it looked like he was shaking his wattles out of the way.... Kind of like a kid shakes thier bangs out thier eyes
