Disease going through my chicks

These are some pictures of them right now. They're active and are active normal until they really get it and become weak. That's when they have hours to live.

Sorry not trying to steal your post, but mine were doing great yesterday and this morning I found 3 of them slow, weak, they won't eat or drink water...mine are game chicks..

birds will be active even if they are sick. Its in their survival instincts. They aren't like us at all, when they get to the point of really showing distress, it's serious and needs to be addressed immediatly. My best guess right now is they have one of the respiratory diseases and need an antibiotic as soon as you can get it into them. If not, I would also guess you'll be losing a lot more before this is done.

I've given mine tylan 50,I'm trying to find penecillin to give them

Daisy17, you should start another thread under the Emergencies section. You will get a lot more info that way. Also pictures and a list of symptoms of the birds and their behaviour will help a lot. I'll look for the thread and after i have seen the symptoms answer there. Quick guess, it could be cocci but without more info I'm stabbing in the dark. Help me out and yourself, start a new thread as your issues may not be the same.

Oh, yea, mine weren't drinking any water when they became weak. We probably have the same thing..

The chicks that I have in there are English lavender, white, and partridge orpingtons, Beilefelders and Partridge Orps. Probably close to a grand worth of birds. I really hope the Tylan does the trick..

The Tylan should help and give you time to figure out just what you are dealing with. If I seemed short before, forgive me, when I see something like this my head is flying, going through all the things I know and what I've read or heard. I've been where you are, for different reasons, but not matter the reason, it's an awful thing to have happen. The most important thing now is to get them on an antibiotic and start reversing what ever it is they have. You should start seeing some improvement fairly soon if the Tylan is going to work.
