Disease Question

I am thinking of getting a parakeet (budgie) as my first bird. We already have chickens, guineas, and plan on getting turkeys. Are there are any diseases that budgie's can get from chickens, guineas, or turkeys or vice versa? The budgie would be inside our house of course, but I'm wondering about us bringing any disease on our clothes, shoes, hands, etc. from one to the other.

Absolutely. Not only disease, but mites/lice as well.
Anytime I've been around my chickens, shoes are taken off at the back door, & I change clothes and wash up - take a shower if possible, before handling my parrots.
