I don't think its any coincidence that they showed up not 2 weeks after the chickens. I've never seen a mink alive before. And unfortunately we don't have a gun. We wanted to shot it, end its suffering (and ours) but I'm thinking its already passed on, it never came out of the woods, can turkey vultures get rabies, I know they are fairly common, and if they can't, I hope a big flock of them eats the worst if it before a racoon gets it or something. Better yet, the DNR!!!!Well, you might be right about them not being ambitious.
However, there isn't that many free steak meals just laying around right?
Sooner or later, they will notice, there's this weird box shaped 'chicken dispenser' on that one farm, not too far from there.
I'm thinking that mink thinks your chicken coop is a meat dispenser.
