Disgusted and angry....

I come home after going to the dealership to buy another car and it’s a total massacre! We let out birds free range and something managed to kill all 30 of our pullets and cockerels. It ate a few and just left the rest. Warning graphic. Time to get the 12 gauge and load a nice slug. Not getting away from me. Any idea what this was? I have print pictures.

They are not behind a fence. We’ve never seen dogs around but have seen coyotes. Prints are too large for coyotes but dogs make sense because of how many were killed... whatever it is it’s not getting away next time.

One of our amazing breeding hens was badly hurt. She managed to defend and keep all her chicks alive. Sadly we put her down.

That is Horrible! I am so sorry!
My guess is a Mink, if they were fenced in and the tracks are small... What injuries are on the birds? Bites around the head and neck? If yes then it was definitely a mink or other Mustelid. Minks will kill non stop, even if they can't eat it all. Their prey drive is strong, stronger than a cat's, and they will cache their kills afterwords to feed off of later. I have had them kill 10+ rabbits in one night.
