First, I hope I'm posting this under the correct category.
Now on to my question: I recently sold my small flock of 7 hens, to someone who would keep them until they reach there own natural life. I have eight 3 week old chicks waiting to go into the coop, which I just disinfected. I also turned all the soil in the enclosed run and reseeded with grass (although they won't be out in the run just yet). How long do I need to wait before I can move the new chicks from the brooder in the garage to the coop (which has a heat lamp for warmth)???
