My Turkey had coccidia or black head disease. I need to disinfect the dirt floor of the coop. What is the best chemical to use and how?

Ditto Dat....especially if it's not known the exact organism. It really is not possible to disinfect soil.
Ok will do!! Thank you!Can you post pictures of your coop?
Coccidia oocysts exist naturally in soils. When the environment gets excessively wet and the population density is too high, the numbers of coccidia oocysts can explode to the point it causes disease in the birds.
They may have become infected from the run just as easily.
I would turn the soil in the coop to dry it out then add fresh dry bedding.
It really is not possible to disinfect soil.
Look to remove all excessively muddy conditions and access to stagnant water.
Also they are barn stalls that are secured and dedicated to the birds. No other farm animals can get in them.Ok will do!! Thank you!
