Dislocated or deformed?

I am sorry I am just now seeing this. I had a little runt that had a curled up foot and was so weak that I was scared I was going to lose her. I gave her liquid B Complex and made her a little shoe. Believe it or not you would not even know now that she had a deformed foot unless I showed you. And she is healthy and thriving now with her sisters. She is actually the leader of the pekin pack! I hope yours gets better.

Could you please tell me how you made the shoe and I have coelom from tractor supply where can I get the B complex my little one hatched yesterday and both of the legs unfortunately are curled up. I can pull them down a little bit but I don’t wanna pull too hard. She can move her toes and she can move the legs up and down and wiggle them but they won’t come out of position just like the picture at the top of this post, she is crying and trying to live. It is so sad I don’t know what to do. There’s no way I can put her down I can’t do it so I work full-time. I need to know what I need to do. She should be OK. offer yolk at least until tonight so Please let me know

To make a shoe you can cut a piece of plastic like a Cool Whip container the size of the foot then wrap in vet wrap or tape to cover the sharp edges then lay the foot on the shoe you just made and use vet wrap to hold it on. making sure to go up around the ankle to keep the duckling from getting it off. Be sure to wrap snugly but make sure it's not too snug and cuts off circulation.
@MeganlovesJesus is it the foot or could it be a slipped tendon you can gently feel down the back of the leg and compare with the normal leg and tell were the tendon is slipped out and move it back .

it’s both flags unfortunately one is a little better than the other. That’s why I’m so worried for her. Yeah so the toes are curled. She tries to move them a little bit. They were better than when she first came out. She is a day old this morning, but they’re bent like upright so she’s basically walking or trying to walk on her knees and I tried to pull them down and if she relaxes I can I can pull them down but once she tenses up they just flip right back up and I don’t want to push too hard but I was thinking maybe if I had some Vet wrap like you said for the shoe and then maybe Vet wrap the legs down and maybe it will get used to being down but I think it’s definitely slipped tendons. I think she got stuck in the egg maybe because of low humidity and wasn’t able to turn or something because she was in a really bad position. I had to help her out of the egg which she’s a call Duck, so that’s not uncommon but I have a feeling now that was why I had to help her .

Someone on here recommended vitamin B but all I can find is the poultry rooster vitamin situation, and I already have Nutro drench which I’ve given her with the save a check electrolytes but maybe vitamin B will help her and her joints. I’m not sure I have Celia as well, but I don’t know how I will get her to eat. It seems like she is trying to nibble at things, she definitely drinks

She may not even be hungry if she is a day old don't don't force that issue. They can go 24-36 hrs without eating and drinking but you might get her to drink a little but never force anything down her throat it can aspirate them. . Okay hold on I think I have some info in my bookmarks that may help

what is Celia?

I saw the lady with the cup thing. One thing I’m worried about and I hate to say this, but I’m worried this might be deformed. The reason why is the feet look good they look well formed, but the top of the leg looks almost too small. I will take pictures when I get home from work and post it so you can see and tell me what you think. I’m gonna look at her sister to see what her legs look like and compare the two the lady looks like she said she stretched the ducklings legs out, I really want to do that. I’m gonna pick up some Vet wrap too because like I said, I can’t stretch the legs out. I worry I may be stretching the legs the wrong way though because of how backwards but I think she said she stretch them back behind the duckling , so I will try that because the poor thing cannot get around and that’s what I worry about I work full-time and I can’t constantly feed her but I have done the same thing the lady has I have been letting her her drink a little Nutrir and save a check, but I know she will probably need more do you recommend vitamin B? I’m sorry so many questions. I really want her to make it. I let her and her sister snuggle together for a little bit before I put her back in the incubator because I just don’t feel comfortable putting her in the Bruder quite yet unless you think I should just because it’s so hard for her to get around and her sister kind of jumps on her and doesn’t understand, but I let them lay together for a little bit and it broke my heart because as soon as they could, they just snuggled up with each other like they knew so sad

Can you make a small see-through container for her so she and her sister can see each other and sis can't jump on her by accident? when tiny a plastic shoe box will work, and then when you can watch let them snuggle.

No all you have to do is take off the foil and pull out the stopper then you can use a 1ml syringe without a needle to pull out what you need.
