Dislocated or deformed?

Sounds good I will stop by tractor supply if they don’t have the injectable one they do have the same thing but it’s in kind of a gel form vitamin B. Can I mix that with water and let her drink it because like I said she’s drinking but I don’t know if she’s eating, and I don’t wanna force her, I’m guessing you can put water with gel and mix it up I think that’s what I’m gonna have to do with the vitamin E gel too

Be worth trying if she is drinking. since she can't stand normally be very careful with liquids she doesn't get caught in something she can't get out of and drown, or get soggy wet and chill.

I was thinking that too you’re totally right that’s why I have her in the incubator. I just turned down the temperature a little bit just because I don’t trust her being in the Bruder quite yet every time I check the camera she’s in a different spot so she’s getting around but it just takes her a while.

@MeganlovesJesus how is the little duckling tonight?
Hey there OK so she is running around the best she can and she is tempting to eat but not really eating the food yet but she’s nibbling and she’s drinking. I’ve given her some nutrients I’m bout to go to tractor supply now and I read that I could get some baby bird food that turns into liquid as well for her, I’m gonna grab her some vitamin B complex and some vet wrap. I also have some containers coming to make her a little wheelchair. Kind of like the one lady did one of her legs looks like it’s starting to get a little bit looser not so locked up, but the other one is just locked up. It’s almost like the joint will not move and I’m almost wondering if I’m trying to move it the wrong way , like is her feet backwards I don’t even know how I should Vet wrap it. I just don’t wanna do anything to hurt her but I have her and with her sister now she seems to be doing well getting around a little bit better I have a tiny little water so she should be OK .

I'm not sure what you mean about the foot being backward do you mean like upside down? can you spread the foot out so it is laying flat like normal? In the 3rd pic it looks like it is in the right position. You may need to make shoes for the little one if her feet won't lay flat like her sisters are doing. You can try baby bird food I use it when having to tube feed it has good nutrients in it.

OK, awesome and it’s almost like she’s walking on her knees if that makes sense, her foot like flips up and her knees do not bend like they are stuck like bent if that makes sense like I try to massage her little knees and see if they’ll kind of loosen up, but it just doesn’t seem like they will And I’m gonna make her some little shoes tomorrow. I’m leaving tractor supply now I got the vitamin B complex it’s the injectable one that’s the one they had. How much should I put in or give her a few drops I think it said and I’ll make her a little shoe and stuff tomorrow with the Vet wrap I just got , she’s living with her sister right now and she’s doing a really good job. I just saw her eating for the first time by herself with her sister such a happy thing to see she scoots around. I am so relieved because I didn’t even think she was gonna be able to hold her head up but here she is drinking and eating. I just want to try to get her legs working a little better so she has better quality of life because it seems like it’s very strangest for her to walk .

That link I gave you on niacin deficieny gives you dose for her age. If you’re not giving your other duckling any niacin you can give her this BComplex too. Making her a wheel chair will save her knees to especially as she grows and gains weight. There is always the option to take your duckling to an avian vet to see if anything can be done but they have to be at the age she is now.
That is great she’s beginning to eat.

Yes thank you and one more question the baby bird food it measures in parts like one part this and two parts that what did you use to measure for the bird baby food?

View attachment 1822930 View attachment 1822931 Two of my ducks hatched a couple ducklings and I removed this one to put with some other ducklings in my brooder because it seemed to have a problem with its leg. The leg looks fully formed although it seems the joints are fused because they don’t move and the foot is upside down. So my question is this: is it’s leg dislocated or just deformed from birth? It is about 2 weeks old. It hops on one foot pretty well and is eating and drinking with the others.

Thoughts?
You’re doing great they really look so cute 🥰
